Terms of Service

Effective August 5, 2026

These Terms govern your use of DryPlans (the “Service”), operated by Hunter Webb (“we”, “us”). By creating an account you agree to them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind it.

1. What the Service does

DryPlans hosts documents you upload for your construction job sites and publishes them on a mobile web page reachable by scanning a QR code. It is a convenience tool for distributing job-site documents. It is not a records-retention system, a compliance system, or a system of record.

2. Your account

  • You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your password secure.
  • You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter into contracts.
  • You are responsible for everything that happens under your account.
  • Tell us promptly support@dryplans.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

3. Your content, and who can see it

You keep all ownership of the documents and information you upload (“Your Content”). You grant us only the limited license needed to store, process, and display Your Content in order to operate the Service for you.

Read this part carefully: documents you mark as visible are published on a public web page. That page’s address contains a long random identifier and is excluded from search engine indexing, but it is not password-protected. Anyone who has the link, photographs the placard, or is forwarded the URL can open it. Do not upload anything you would not be comfortable handing to a stranger who walked onto your job site. Every document has a visibility toggle, and hiding a document removes it from the public page immediately.

You confirm that you have the right to upload and publish Your Content.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Upload content you do not have the right to distribute, or that infringes anyone’s rights;
  • Store personal data beyond what a job-site document normally contains — in particular, no payment card numbers, government identification numbers, or health information;
  • Distribute malware, or attempt to breach, overload, or probe the Service or its infrastructure;
  • Resell or white-label the Service without our written agreement;
  • Break any applicable law.

We may suspend or terminate an account that violates this section. Where the circumstances allow it, we will tell you why and give you a chance to fix it first.

5. Plans, billing, and cancellation

  • The Free plan is free and has no time limit.
  • Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. Cancel any time from the billing page in your dashboard.
  • Cancelling stops future charges and takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for. We do not prorate partial months.
  • If you are unhappy in your first 30 days, email us and we will refund you. After that, refunds are at our discretion — but ask, and we will be reasonable.
  • We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice by email. Price changes never apply to a period you have already paid for.

If you cancel or downgrade while over your new plan’s limits, your existing public pages and QR placards keep working. You simply cannot add new job sites or upload new documents until you are back within the limits. We do this deliberately: a job site should never go dark because of a billing event.

6. Availability

We work to keep the Service available and reliable, but we do not offer a guaranteed uptime commitment on any current plan. We may modify or discontinue features. If we ever discontinue the Service entirely, we will give at least 30 days’ notice and a way to export your documents.

7. Important disclaimers

DryPlans does not satisfy any legal requirement to post permits or documents at a job site. Many jurisdictions require the physical permit card, approved plans, or other notices to be physically posted and physically accessible. DryPlans supplements those requirements; it does not replace them. You are solely responsible for knowing and meeting the rules of your authority having jurisdiction.

We do not review, verify, or validate Your Content. We do not check whether a plan set is the current revision, whether a permit is valid, or whether a document is complete. Keeping the documents on your job’s page correct and current is entirely your responsibility.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, construction delays, rework, failed or deferred inspections, stop-work orders, or loss of data.

Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) one hundred US dollars ($100).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

9. Indemnity

You agree to defend and indemnify us against third-party claims arising from Your Content or from your use of the Service in breach of these Terms.

10. Termination and your data

You can delete your account at any time. When you do, we delete your job sites, documents, and stored files. Deletion is permanent and we cannot recover the data afterward — export anything you want to keep first. Backups are purged on their normal rotation, within 30 days.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. For material changes we will give notice by email or in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
